Latin America includes those parts of the Americas which speak Spanish, Portuguese, French or Creoles based on them, which are Latin-derived languages. Countries that are not considered part of Latin America (but are part of South America, Central America, or the Caribbean) include Guyana, Suriname, Belize, Jamaica, Caiman Islands, Turks and Caicos, Bahamas, British Virgin Islands, Antigua, Saint Martens, St. Kitts and Nevis, Barbuda, Antigua, Dominica, Barbados, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada, Trinidad and Tobago, Netherlands Antilles, St Lucia.
