Titles and roles

Each member in your group must have a title and a responsibility. Make sure I get a list of names and responsibilities. In addition to conducting research on your specific character, you will also have the following responsibilities within your group.


Lord or Lady -- is responsible for leading the discussion and soliciting contributions from other group members. The lord or lady helps members of the group stay focused and on task. The lord or lady must also make sure that everyone has an assigned job and is completing their part. The lord or lady must be aware of deadlines for the group. Research topic: how people organize themselves.

Knight-- is responsible for leading the discussion and soliciting contributions from other group members. The knight helps members of the group stay focused and on task. The knight must also make sure that everyone has an assigned job and is completing their part. The knight must be aware of deadlines for the group. 
Research topic: how the feudal system worked.

Architect--is responsible for the design and creation of the presentation. As the architect, you will work with members of your group to assemble a presentation that accurately shares the information your group has learned in an organized and aesthetic format. You will make sure all the requirements for the presentation are met. 
Research topic: the role of religion in society.

Bard-- is responsible for locating the necessary graphic images and sounds for the presentation. You will coordinate with the other members of your group the identification and placement of sounds and graphics within your group's presentation. It will be your job to make sure that the images in the presentation are consistent with the text and sounds. You will also make sure that all sounds, songs, and graphics are properly cited. 
Research topic: What kind of work people did.

Apprentice: You will work with your group to research and gather the information needed for your presentation. Your family owned it's own manor before the war and you were fortunate to learn how to read and write. You will need to report to your lord or lady and you will be required to work with the other members in your group. You will also be responsible for keeping good records of the resources you used in your research as well as the tasks each member of the group undertook. This information will be sent to the royal archives for evaluation and preservation. 
Research topic: What people did for fun.

Monk or Nun ---- is responsible for locating the necessary graphic images and sounds for the presentation. You will coordinate with the other members of your group the identification and placement of sounds and graphics within your group's presentation. It will be your job to make sure that the images in the presentation are consistent with the text and sounds. You will also make sure that all sounds, songs, and graphics are properly cited. 
Research topic: What kind of buildings people lived in.

Craftsperson(s): --is responsible for the design and creation of the presentation. As the architect, you will work with members of your group to assemble a presentation that accurately shares the information your group has learned in an organized and aesthetic format. You will make sure all the requirements for the presentation are met. 
Research topic: Impact of Black Death upon society.

Peasant --You will work with your group to research and gather the information needed for your presentation. Your family owned it's own manor before the war and you were fortunate to learn how to read and write. You will need to report to your lord or lady and you will be required to work with the other members in your group. You will also be responsible for keeping good records of the resources you used in your research as well as the tasks each member of the group undertook. Research topic: major achievements in science during feudal society.
